APONI, einst geschunden, jetzt geliebt und umsorgt!

Es war einmal  ein grausames Beispiel von TIERQUÄLEREI

wie sie leider immer wieder dort vorkommt, wo Menschen Tiere geringschätzen und als seelen- und empfindungslose Kreaturen abqualifizieren.

Pater Anthony war auch hier der Retter in der Not, ob das arme Tier aber trotz aller Fürsorge und medizinischer Bereuung überleben kann, liegt in der Hand eines anderen…

Die Hündin erhielt den Namen APONI, das heißt Schmetterling auf indianisch.

Wünschen wir alle dem Schmetterling, dass er noch einmal fliegen kann…!!

Dearest Renate,

Just one more example of ANIMAL CRUELTY in Bosnia and Hercegovina. The man who brought us Dallas and the other 3 puppies found this poor poor poor young female dog lying by the roadside in between Konjic and Jablanica. She is a pit-bull. She is quite loving and gentle but she was almost dead. Literally STARVING TO DEATH. She was so dehydrated. She has signs of old wounds on her back and stomach area. Maybe she was used for dog fights. EVIL! SATANIC! We rushed her to the vet and put on the infusion and we seemed to revive her. She needs to receive infusion twice a day and receive vitamins intravenously. We brought her home to the monastery and took pictures of her for ACI. With lots of love and care we hope she will survive.
